Agreed, I don't think we played poorly. We didn't dominate the games like we did last year, but fact of the matter is, the team won because even when it didn't look like it was going to happen, they found a way... That's what Saban wants out of his team first and foremost. Get that down, and then you can work on making it "pretty".

Also, just a thought I heard on the radio the other night... Some people seem disappointed at LSU even if they finish out 9-2 (10-2 with a bowl win).... If a 2 loss season is a disappointment, then the program we've all been waiting for so patiently is finally here... get my drift?

In looking at the BCS standings today, this too alarmed me to no end.

Texas plays a fairly high ranked A&M team, while Cal plays a So. Miss team that used to be a pretty good team, but seems to have mailed in the rest of the season. Texas has an outside shot at surpassing Cal, but most of it depends on voters changing their minds and giving a lot of the 6th place votes going to Texas to go to an idle Utah instead, and then some of the 4th place votes switching from Cal to Texas as well.

That would sicken me if they make it.

Watch for both Cal and Texas to do the style points thingy and win by as much as possible (without offending anyone, of course).

I'm going to rant here for a minute

Why is it if other Tiger fans say something like the team didn't play well other
Tiger fans want to attack and call that person names and belittle that person.

    Screw it,
I will say it, this team played like crap most of the year.
Anyone who knows anything about football knows that with the turnover ratio
we had this year teams rarely have winning records much less 8-2.
Why is it too much to ask for a team to play a little better than almost losing
    to Ole Miss or Troy?

I will say this, we were awfully lucky in some of our games but we are also unlucky in the Auburn game because of what happened.
I think we just might have won that one in the end.

Now that I finished my rant, The Tigers have the same record that I predicted when the season started, I said we would lose 2 or 3 games and it
certainly looks like that will be the case.

I'm Thankful for my family, NS, and 8-2 football team :D
and Big Babby and the basketball team making waves this year.
I'm Thankful for Tigerforums, Artest the thug being suspended for the season.
Scott Peterson found guilty and Life. :usaflagwa

Personally speaking, I don't get mad when someone says we didn't play well. We ALL know that the running game (of late) and the defense has really been carrying this team. What I take exception to is berating them over and over again in thread after thread and implying that we don't deserver to be where we are because of our inconsistencies or if we played such and such, they'd blow us out. We are what we are. Are we lucky to have only 2 losses? Maybe. But, chance favors the prepared team and I'll take it any day as opposed to the alternative. What ever happened to just being satisfied with winning?

I agree mostly with what you have said, I don't agree with anyone that said
we would get blowed out or we don't deserve to be there.

What ever happened to just being satisfied with winning?
My heart, its a good thing i'm 39 because if I was any older I probably would
    be in bad shape.
