the problem with baseball (even though i LOVE it) is that there are just too many games to keep ppl interested throughout the season. with the importance taken off of each individual game, it's really hard to drum up games or series' until the playoffs...at which time they are sharing time with football.
pretty much how the majority of people see college basketball. 90% of the fans show up in March. Most here probably watch very little regular season games. At best, most LSU games and probably zero outside of the conference.
I would agree for most, but during the season I definitely caught as many games as were on ESPN Thurs/Fri. Wed/Sat was all LSU for me.
I don't like the NBA or baseball all that much. So usually when march madness ends up until football begins I try to spend as much time with the wife as possible.
I am a baseball fan but I am sick of the Braves and Cubs. Even though they have their own Superstations to beam 75% of their games to the entire country, ESPN is bound and determined to get them on every chance they get. :angryfire
I LOVE watching NASCAR on my 52 inch and I never change the channel when anyone walks in. HELL I am in 2 fantasy Nascar leagues. So screw you guys I'm going home.
I think the article is somewhat disrespectful to LSU's spring athletics--just my opinion of course. Sure they aren't "interesting" per se, but I surely wouldn't call it a drought just because the "water" isn't to my liking.
