This Bama rematch is simply feeling anti-climatic to me

    This^^^

Most who are excited, point to the outcome of an LSU win. Yes it would be way cool to beat Bama twice and send Nicky home with his tail between his legs. I don't think it will be that easy. To guarantee a win here or even consider it a done deal is setting yourself up for a let down. I have a really bad feeling about this game. It is incredibly difficult to beat a team twice when you are so evenly matched. I think that was why the media (ESPN) pushed so hard for the rematch because they know the odds are in Bama's favor. They get to redeem themselves for being wrong so many times this year. To the rest of the world outside of LSU, they will not remember that we were 13-0 beating 8 ranked teams. They will only remember how we lost to Bama in the NCG.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but with our present QB situation I don't feel the outcome will go our way. And what pisses me off is that it will be Bama that ruins a beautiful season. I could take a loss from anybody else.

I agree and if we had to play any team twice, there's no team I'd prefer having an opportunity to beat again.

If tidefans stop LSU fans from posting with the first loss I imagine a second one would shut the site down period.

If it means that much to lose, stand up and fight till the end. I know you're not a player but fans shouldn't mail it in either. I like to look at opponents realistically too and agree with you about being closely matched, etc. That's also why I would never concede a loss until it happened- if it does and I really don't see us losing.

I'm thinking this^^^, but I wouldn't help feeling cheated about an LSU loss without a best of 3 rematch.

Don't worry Tiga I will be screaming my lungs out and cheering on the Tigers. I hope I am pleasantly surprised and we blow them out. I will be running my mouth and trash talking like nobody's business if we win. I never give up on my team, I was just giving an honest assessment of how I feel in regards to the question raised by Izzy. I don't feel like I usually do but then again CajinKid will tell you I walk around with the Maalox bottle during the games.:hihi:

Okay, just wanted to pep you up and make sure we weren't losing any fans.

Oh and I didn't say "blow them out". Sheesh you go from one extreme to the other.

I start our yearly turnaround Jan 6 working nights. Talk about being bummed for the game, you guys don't know what bummed is. While everyone else is cooking gumbo or grilling steaks I will have to be at work come hell or high water. There is no call in sick. There is no way out. I just hope that it's slow because the t/a will be just starting and I can see some of it while on the job.

And I was feeling bad cause my sister has a ticket and is going with some friends while I was going to watch at home. Guess I should be grateful.

Couldn't believe when she told me the room was $600.00 for the night of the game. $2,000.00 for three nights so they're going to be 5 and split it. She said she decided to go ahead since her ticket was free.

If we lose (and I don't think we will) - It just seems to me that the question of "Who has the best team in College Football" still won't be answered.

    So what - Now we're tied, 1-1.

The controversy would continue ad nauseum forever.

There is only downside for us. If we win, well gee...we were supposed to win. But if we lose........??????

That being said, I believe we will control the ball, special teams will make their plays, and we walk away with all the crystal ball.
