leinart will make the better pro guys.....hate to say it but its true...and it looks like the saints will probably get him.
Let me tell you, if the Saints get him he definitely won't be the better pro. What do you people see that leads you to feel so confident that Leinart will be a better pro? You think he's gonna get all that time to throw in the pros? And when he gets hit he doesn't know where the hell he's at for five minutes. Vince Young is Matt Leinart WITH ROLLERBLADES ON. He's the #1 rated passer in the nation. And his running...oh my God. But the best part is that he examines all options before running. He's not a run-first QB and that's where a lot of you are getting confused. I mean, he threw 40 passes tonight! And he completed 30 of them! He's not the typical running QB. And his decision-making is right on. Also, remember that he's only a junior. Matt's got a year on him.
The thing that will make VY a great pro is his arm. He is like RP in that they are great passing QB's that have also got wheels. How many QB keepers were there last night that weren't broken plays? Not many, a few options and the two point conversion but mostly VY just sat back in the pocket and waited to make PLAYS. The timing on his passes was impecable and most were right on the money. He is a great passer. ML might have only lost 2 games in his college career but look at the offencive talent that he has had to work with compared with what VY has had to work with. USC has had some great skill position players come through in the last couple of years while Texas has had some good ones they really don't compare. No nock on ML but it doesn't matter if its the NFL or College you want the ball in the hands of the best play maker, and that is VY.
That's a great point. I will go with VY anytime if he comes out. ML although good is too much of a cry baby  and too much into himself. It's risky for injuries for VY if he stays; if injury free, he should still be draft quite high in case he stays. ________ Bandit Series
