I bet Richt wouldnt want to play us again next week, just a guess. I sure would love to have us play them again with Matt in there, now. It'd be different for sure.
This right here... this sequence of events... proves that LSU players are somehow exempt from judgment and criticism. That somehow it's all the coaches' fault when particular players just don't execute properly.
There were a lot of, "what ifs," involved in the SEC CG. Addai was not healthy. Daniels did not start. Etc. But you can't blame Georgia for coming into that game well prepared and fired up. Yep, if they were to play again, it would be a heck of a game.
Don't know about the rest of you, but looking back on the season, I can see where the first half of the season started roughly, not only with the hurricanes, but also in learning a new system. THen, once the hurricane business was held in control, and the players were really starting to grasp the new schemes, they were running on fumes for playing 11 games in 9 and a half weeks. I think the Peach bowl was the first time they got a chance to put it all together; a working understanding and fresh legs.
