This is a poorly coached team. No other way around it.

It happened when he missed the first XP against Auburn......which ended up probably costing us the game....

Its the lack of Motivation for the team. Like I said in an eariler post watch the players that are not around the play. They are giving up before the play is over. Now i know that the coach can't go out and play for his team, but it doesn't appear that this team has the drive in them to win and/or that they believe in themselve. those last points I do place on the coaches. I think this team has lost faith in the coaches to make the best choices for the TEAM. That is what I see on the field, there are problems and it goes WAY beyond TALENT!

    RIGHT ON THE MONEY.

I wondered why Jimbo called a "draw" play on 2nd and ten when we were having some sucess throwing short passes. We had just completed one for 10 yards and UGA was stacking the line. They knew when we'd run and when we'd pass. The young QB's don't have a chance becuase our offense is easy to read. Not enough passing offense agaisnt a team that might have given up more.

    Here is what you posted:

I might have taken that out of context.

I love Nick and hope he stays in Baton Rouge forever.

Having said that, I don't think we are playing up to our potential and I think a certain amount of the blame for our poor performance has to be laid at the coaches feet. True they don't block and tackle, but they are responsible for preparing the kids to block and tackle.

We just seem to be getting out executed, out played, and out hustled. I don't expect that from a Nick Saban coached team. The only game that we've hit on all cylinders was Miss. St. and I'm not sure that one counts.

One thing to remember. We are a very young team. Next year might just be the year for another great season.

Another reason why LSU was so dominate last year was because of their defense. I'm dissapointed with the way the defensive backs are playing right now as I'm sure you all feel the same way. You cannot win games with just offense.

A bit of history, reality and fantasy...

This Georgia loss hurts much more than the Auburn one point loss. Today is an embarrassment! Except for those few minutes at the end of the first half and the beginning of the second, it really wasn't a game. Today, the better team played their best game and we took it on the chin!

Now, how about a dose of history...???

I've been an LSU fan --- win or lose --- since the Charlie Mac days. Back then, every year, the critics would come up with the same old, "...with the talent we have, we should never lose a game." When the critics finally got their way, we saw just how good a coach Charlie Mac was.

Except for a some very brief periods, LSU under Saban has reached highs which quite frankly, I never expected to see so consistently. What's more, the outlook is very bright. As fans, we all imagine what could have been. Before today's game, my ideal scenario was that both Auburn and LSU would win out in a big way the balance of the season and LSU would revenge the one point loss in this year's national championship game. Nice fantasy, it didn't make it through today's game.

Time to move on. Next week is our biggest game, not just because it's our next game, but because we still have a chance to develop into a top ten or top fifteen team. Look at Auburn tonight. Both Auburn and Georgia are now legitimate contenders for #1.

The lesson to learn today, for the team and all, is that talent in not enough. Don't beat yourself up; don't look for scape-goats; simple desire is not enough (X-Man learned that today). It will be an interesting week of practice. I can't wait until next week. I'm looking for LSU to beat Florida by 21...

Your post may be very politically incorrect, but it’s the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth no matter how much people don’t won’t to hear it. Reality is this talent-laden team is seriously under performing and under achieving and it all stems from this sorry two-quarterback experiment. I said it before and now I’m going to repeat it again: as long as LSU continues with this absurd two-quarterback nonsense this team will struggle against quality teams. I was willing to sacrifice the season in order to let the young quarterbacks of the future gain experience, but I was never willing to sacrifice a season with an insane two quarterback experiment, but that’s exactly what happened.
