    LSU Deek,

COACHING was a HUGE factor in this game!

Two 15-yard penalties during crunch time? One for kicking the freaking ball? Are you kidding me??? And you've got Les putting his arm around the guys and taking them out for like a play. Team's make the same mistakes when there's no REAL consequences to fear. Sure, the coaches didn't do those things, so the players take most of the blame, but come on...

And that 3rd and 1 call when we threw a bomb in the endzone with 38 seconds left?????? That was AWFUL coaching. Especially how we were rolling at that point...if we score a TD on that drive instead of getting stupid and going for it all at once, we win this game.

I don't care if JJ knows 1 damn play, he played 5000 times better than Lee and we should have won that game. Also, JJ should have been starting a long time ago.

Was that Tremaine Johnson who got called for roughing the passer when the Hogs were backed up to their endzone with 3rd and forever?

Yeah...that lack of ability to contol himself cost the Tigers the game.
If he had not done that, the Hogs would've never scored. Everything that happened after that would've been different. Surely the Tigers would've won.

And that falls on the coach.

Wasn't even roughing - he took a swing at an Arkansas lineman after the play was blown dead.:angryfire

That's exactly right. Tremaine Johnson should have had his butt on the bench the rest of the game. We have plenty of decent d-line man that could have stepped in his place. There are no consequences. Hell, it took Jarrett Lee getting hurt for Miles to bench him. He single handedly lost at least 3 games this year.

    That 17 play drive? Yep.

I have to agree with that. This was my reaction as well, as soon as the play ended. That one play is probably the turning point of the game if you had to try to single out what the turning point was. :angryfire

I'm with you. Had JJ gotten the start sooner then end result might not look much different in W's and L's but he would be that much further along. I do think we would have probably won a game or two more. Had Lee started today and played his "normal" game we would have lost by at least a TD. Can anyone say pick 6?
