1. I think most of Tbobs problems are physical really. A year or two more of our weight program and he's going to be better than Helms was for us. How has Hitt played? I haven't really had time to go through the PBP.
  2. I was listening to Bobby Hebert on the radio, and the callers where calling him up complimenting his son for all the pancake blocks he had against ULL, and they asked Bobby what his thoughts were on the O-line play. He basically said the same thing as Les... can't really single out one guy... everybody on the line is blowing their share of assignments, making their share of mistakes, etc. But Bobby did single out the seniors on the line -- specifically Hitt and Black for not playing at the level of play that is expected of a senior, and he was saying that is not good senior leadership and that they need to step it up. He also pointed out how Black is not playing like a 1st Round pick at all so far this year. But he was saying that he thinks the mistakes will decrease as the season goes on, that the line will gel as the season goes on, that they will start playing better together as a unit, etc.
  3. Coaches and players better beware of throwing another player publicly under the bus, though. Obviously, Bobby Hebert can form his own opinion and share it, but if he is getting that from his son, then it could create rifts on the O-line. The O-line, more than any other unit, relies on good comaraderie and dependability on each other. They are usually a fairly close nit group. I have no inside info on this, just an observation with several folks commenting on CBlack this week. CBlack seems like a great guy with good perspective and is probably his own toughest critic, so lets see if he improves his play.
  4. But he is right those guys need to step up.

I think TBob played 2 excellent games, until last game. He is the center and we couldnt run the ball between the hedges. Thats a direct result of him and the fullback not blocking well.
  5. I agree that the O-line needs major improvement, and the good thing is Miles acknowledges this. Being his area of expertise I think this problem will be fixed.
