Our OL historically starts the season off slowly...tonight was no different. And unlike last year, when we started off slowly blocking against UL-Lafeyette, at least we had our mistakes against a pretty respectible defense in this year's season opener.

They looked a whole lot better (our OL) in the 2nd half though--so that's a good sign that adjustments and "first-game-jitters" were corrected.

A vanilla offensive gameplan against a SEC defense. Also offense seemed to be playing tight. Once Flynn got some confidence the offense started to move the ball pretty well(i.e. first drive of third quarter). LSU used superior talent to out muscle MSU. I'm ok with not showing too much on offense until VT game. Right side of line will improve. I think they will be fine.No need to push panic button. Miss State has solid front 7 and we all knew they would play tough for first half til depth and talent took over.
