But you would agree that if a rule is stupid, it should be challenged correct?

    [QUOTE
Yes, if it is stupid. You have to be careful here because this is how we ended up with so many barely functional idiots running around unsupervised. Some (and by some I mean a lot) of momma started crying because little johnny and big booty judy couldn't pass to the next grade. Instead of making them smarter we lowered the damn bar.

I get it, pot is harmless and no one has ever od'd or any other stupid shit but the rules are the rules and if you break them then you are on your own. It really is very easy to not smoke dope. I've managed to do it for 48 years. If I had something as important as, oh, the rest of my fucking life on the line I am damn sure not going to fuck it up with a stupid one hitter.

From the article I saw: "Fulton is halfway through serving a two-year suspension imposed last winter by the NCAA, said Don Jackson, an Alabama-based attorney representing the Fulton family who spoke to The Advocate on Sunday." LSU declined comment

What I'm saying, you dimwit, is that the sentence for armed robbery is rightfully 30 or 40 years. Shoplifting is also a crime and should be punished but would you gove the same sentence to a stupid kid who steals a bag of Doritos?

What Fulton did was against a rules and he should be punishing but the punishments was far more severe than his offense.

Are they? Using another man's urine to try and cheat a test shows me a fairly significant lack of character. What if it were 2 games? Then everyone is doped up and the nerds are making a killing selling Ziploc full of piss.

The more you argue the closer I lean to them tacking yet another year on just for shits and giggles.

It wasn't weed, it was PEDs. The NCAA doesn't test for pot.

First of all it's not real piss as far as I know, just a chemical that mimics the properties of clean urine when tested. Using it might signify some lack of character but significant lack is going over the edge.
Lots of people buy that stuff at just about every one of those independent, foreigner owned convenience stores. They do it because they don't want to lose their jobs. If I had a job where I knew I might be tested at random I simply wouldn't smoke weed. But you know as well as I do that a good number of those guys are on other substances too. I'm not defending it but if I was dependent on any drug that would get me fired I would use it too.

But all that pertains to either recreational drugs or prescribed pain killers and opioids. Fulton was supposedly tested for PEDs and if he felt like he had to fake the test I assume that he was in fact using something. But he has been punished enough. Using PED's is in a way cheating. Tom Brady overtly cheated by having footballs deflated. He had to sit out 4 games. ARod got suspended 120 games for using steroids. Not even a full season. In Fulton's case justice has already been served. Even most convicts get out of prison before serving their full sentence. FREE OUR BROTHER FULTON!

If you don't agree you are an Okie and you are afraid Fulton might intercept a pass that preserves an LSU victory over Oklahoma in the National Championship game.

I think steroids should be legal. I know the health detriments are there but too many use them and get away with it. The tests are not flawless and are not applied to all, across the board. If it was potentially available to all, the competitive advantage would be removed.

The real hypocrisy is that most who disapprove of Performance Enhancing Drugs either approve of or use other PEDs like Viagra or Cialis.
