I hear where you are going, but this is not accurate. First of all, Viagra and Cialis are not steroids. They work by increasing vascular blood flow, thus promoting an erection. Has absolutely nothing to do w/hormones.

Steroids is not a catch all phrase, either. There are 3 major types w/multiple subcategories. Basically, it comes down to sugar, salt and sex. The sugar steroids are things like insulin. Salt ones are things like prednisone, used to decrease inflammation. Sex ones are things like testosterone and PEDs. These are the ones in question and tested for. Despite popular opinion here, the test are actually very accurate. While there can be cross reactivity, 99% of the time those claiming this type of "contamination" are the ones trying to hide something. Argue it all you want, but dem's the scientific facts.

If you make them "legal", then you'll promote usage. If John is using and winning everything, then Jimmy needs to keep up with John, and will start using them, too. That's reality, and it's not a healthy one. I'm not saying there aren't healthy ways to use them and get a competitive advantage, I'm just saying, it's not overall a healthy direction to encourage by allowing them across the board.

I hear you about the dangers of steroid use. It's not good at all. I would not use them for health reasons.
Health is greater than competitive advantage...even if you're a professional athlete. Outside of professionals, winning isn't an end in itself...striving to win is. Because the good habits (including respect for your body) that it takes to win can be carried into any and every aspect of life from investment banking to theology or the arts.

By the way, Viagra has serious health risks too. I'm hoping to experience the 6 hour erections !!! (LOL)

I don't care what it is. It is used to trick the test and its wrong

You either have integrity or you don't. Like being almost pregnant.

Well, now isn't this telling. If doing what they did would cause them to lose their jobs shouldn't they just not do the thing in the first place? hmmm

That is exactly what you are doing

And while I might be inclined to agree, the fact remains that it is the rule, he knew the rule, knew the consequences and broke the rule (allegedly) so therefore he has to deal with it.

So now you are okay with cheating. If this were a gump player you know you wouldn't be on this side and I'd be right there with you squawling about how they always get away with everything (because the gump would already be cleared) but you have to judge apples to apples bruh.

    Who are you taint?

I just want some integrity and accountability for our team and players. I expect them to fight the issue and I hope they get it resolved but making something like this a slap on the wrist type penalty is bad for the sport. Agree to disagree, says more about each of us than you realize.

    From the article:

The article also states at the end he's passed dozens of tests regulated by LSU.

You mean he passed the test later? We could all do that. He failed the test, and tried to fake it. If he did all that he gets what he deserves. If he smoked it, and did not fake it, then take that into consideration. They had the proof in the first place, and LSU did not come out publicly to dismiss it.

I'm sure that LSU has tried to appeal the ruling.

No poor football player here, unless they can prove he did none or some of it.

    Who's you?

I did not hand down the sentence. I did not hand him the fake sample.

    It's his own damn fault.

The concern they are raising is the sample was not fraudulent. So how can you say he faked it for sure? I follow MMA and samples can get tainted in the extraction.
