http://bit.ly/HU412k Do you share in these thoughts, or do you think that they are dangerous? BTW, refute the comments, not where they are published. That would just show your unwillingness to confront the issues, so no reason to waste your time on this.
Stop starting a new thread every time you see an anti global arming article. There are a dozen threads on it already, the most recent ones started by you. I won''t debate an article. Do you have any thoughts on global warming yourself? I'll be happy to address the subject. Better come armed with some facts, though. Your article provides none.
I don't care about global warming and sea level rise...especially as it relates to wetland loss. By the time sea level rise inundates wetlands in Louisiana, they'll mostly be gone anyway, since the Mississippi and Atchafalaya rivers are managed by the corps of engineers in a way that prevents sedimentation and maintenance of a steady state. I'd be more worried about that. I also don't care about climate change as an issue in which to view and form public policy. If anyone wants to debate public policy, then debate it directly....not through scientific theory.
No its not. Climate has changed all through earth's history. You know this. There is not a single piece of evidence that states "Man has made the climate change!" I await your facts to say otherwise....
That is not at question. However it does not suggest that human activity cannot affect the climate. Of course there is! All you have to do is read the IPCC report, which is the consensus of scientific evidence on the subject. I've laid it all out before in about a dozen threads on the topic right here on TF. Do a search and I'll answer any issue you have with any statement I have posted. That ain't the way it works. I've already given the facts 100 times here before. I challenged you to support your statement with facts. You did not. That is the logical fallacy called shifting the burden of proof (onus probandi)--the obligation on a party in a dispute to provide sufficient warrant for their position. It is also another called appeal to ignorance--that a proposition must be true because it has not yet been proven false. Lay out your evidence THEN I'll happily destroy it.
And 2,000 previous facts have been posted on how the earths climate changed long before humans.... Again, what you are arguing, but to dumb to realize, is that man does have an effect on the earths climate to an extent, but does not dictate it. Cows also have an effect along with a million other things.. The IPCC is a consensus of a man made model with man made data injected into it.. That my friend, is a fact....
