    really?

i dont get it. oh, you mean i dont think the war benefits the US? then your right, but i did think the US should have started both and i dont think they shouldve pulled out abruptly. but they are still mistakes.

    Congress declares war.

    They didn't.

This is a "War" on an ideology. Similar to the "War" on Drugs.

people love to say that, but there is no point.

if i said world war 2 was to some extent a war against totalitarianism and nazism, which it was, would that somehow mean it wasnt a real war or not a real cause? of course not. it is just another way of saying things.

for practical purposes, the existence of a war is not defined by if it was declared. if the guns and bombs start going off, the thousands of dead troops, you have a war on your hands. it is pointless to make any stupid points like:

"duhhh, you caint fought a dang war agaynst terror becuz terror is a concept nat a dern enemy haha lolzers"

    or:

"war were not declared so thar aint no war fars as i cain tell"

we are in two wars. why bother saying otherwise?

We don't even have a military objective.

I guess kill all the bad people will work..

Rather going after 100 al qaeda members we would be better served getting rid of 100 politicians. The threat is from within.

not to mention the recent wikileaks thing said that the Pentagon knows that Pakistan is aiding Al Queda, and we keep paying Pakistan and giving them aid. So basically we are paying Pakistan to pay Al Queda to kill us. If anyone wants to know where Bin Laden is, he is in Pakistan, probably smoking hash and getting fanned by women with covered faces.

Man that is a tough question. I really don't favor war with anyone. I may favor not giving them aid anymore, but then they will for sure join the extremists. What do you think?
