Yep. LSU is #2 today in total defense after Virginia Tech. Big drop in passing defense from #7 to #13.
Alabama played with tremedous heart last night, and I wish you the absolute best of luck in playing a demoralized AU next week. Any other Tiger fans happy that we're getting AU in October next year instead of September? We tend to get better as the season goes on (only now do I feel our offense is clicking)--whereas AU has a tendency to peak early.
I've been "high" on JPW since he's been on campus. That said, like most Bama fans feel, the back-up we've got is just as good, maybe better. Looking forward to Marve coming in as well. There isn't a thing I saw in this game that didn't surprise me...OTOH, I didn't think JR would come out as hot as he did. Honestly, part of me hopes to see Tubby raise the thumb in T-town. I know that doesn't sound right...Lord knows, I hate losing to Auburn...but....maybe in a year or two I can share why I feel this way. Right now, it wouldn't serve any purpose other than creating info with some of the other Bama fans on this forum. Quite frankly, they don't deserve the info. (with the exception of Bayou, who knows all of this anyway.) Great game...not "fun" to watch...but, it's always about SEC football, isn't it? Folks, the basketball season is going to be fun...I'll stick my head in now and then... Thanks for the warm reception, as always...wwweeelllll, a few exceptions to that statement!
Yes he had a good passing game. You guys threw the ball well against LSU. Probably one of the best passing game LSU has seen in terms of the opposing team moving the ball. I was really worried about how open the Bama WR's were and how effective they were passing. That is a little worrisome to me. Come back, it's nice to have opposing fans like you. Good luck against AU, giv'em hell.:thumb:
