Re: Tyrus declaring for the NBA Draft today? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/luke_winn/04/17/lsu.draft/index.html this one seems sure that glen is staying and tyrus is going. i think that is the best scenario right now.
LSU freshman Tyrus Thomas will announce at a 4 p.m. ET news conference Monday that he intends to enter the NBA draft and will sign with an agent, ESPN Radio's Doug Gottlieb has learned. Thomas has been informed by NBA officials that he is projected as a Top-five pick in the upcoming draft. SEC player of the year Glen "Big Baby" Davis also will announce his future plans at the news conference.
i hate confliction....WJBO says "Sources tell WJBO that LSU is close to a deal with Coach John Brady. Glen Davis is expected to return, and Tyrus Thomas will declare for the NBA draft but NOT hire and agent. "
After the Tigers' ouster from the Final Four against UCLA in the NCAA Tournament, Thomas sounded as if he intended to return for his sophomore season. "Somebody had to lose, and I never thought it would be us," he said. "But there's an upside to this. We'll be in Atlanta next year [at the Final Four] -- and we'll win it." Would Thomas really break his promise
