I believe that this will be a very close game for several reasons.

    1. SC has only lost 2 games; vs. UGA, @ UVA.

    2. They beat MSU worse than we did.

    3. They held UK to 12 pts. last weekend. That says alot about their 'D'.

    4. They have momentum and everything to gain.

This just might be our most exciting game of the season. I believe that we will win, but it will be a little close for comfort. Another over-time game? Don't miss this one

I'm very interested to see if LSU continues their excellent play, or if they have a let down after Florida.

I think Saban's going to build on the win and crush the Gamecocks.

Well I hope your wrong about the crushing part ;)

But I do think it will a very hard fought game. I think it will come down to who turns the ball over the least, and special teams. But of course you can say that about 75% of the games that will be played on Saturday  But it will especially be true in this game. I am very interested how our D plays against your O. Should be a very entertaining ball game.

    GO COCKS!!!!!

I do not see a let down coming. This win over Florida was not the same emotional victory we had in 97, followed by Ole Miss loss. This one was a victory by a very good football team that is just begining to show how good it can be. We are going to get better. LSU by at least 14.

If my sense of humor was as keen as Lou's

I'd be grinning ALL the time at my own jokes. He just cracks me up.

The defenses of both teams should keep this a low scoring game. Winning the battle for field position with the kicking game will be important for us. We need to establish a running game against LSU's 5 man defensive front. Our offense cannot provide LSU with gift wrapped touchdowns like Rex Grossman did by having interceptions returned for touchdowns.

I'd settle for 2- nothing. A safety on the opening kickoff by LSU's defense, and they keep the cocks in their own pants for the rest of the game. Let the offense rest. The defense can handle even Miami now.

    Defensive injuries?

What are South Carolina's injuries that I keep hearing about? Who is out and who is expected to play a little banged up? Also, anything about the guys taking their spots would be helpful.

    On defense:
    1) Lance Laury LB is injured
Jerimiah Garrison filled in well against Kentucky.
    2) Pre-season All SEC Spur Rashad Faison is injured.
Jermaine Lemon and Jamacia Jackson have played well in his absence.
    3) Dennis Quinn DL was injured but will return this week.

We have played 4 conference games and allowed 49 points and scored 77 points. Our oppenents have been Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt.
