    And LeBron. Damn, he would have been awesome. And Kobe...sh!t he would have been something. And Moses Malone...Imagine what we would have done back then. And Darrell Dawkins...Damn!

    That court was an improvement over the original floor in the PMAC. Anyone remember that rubber surface or whatever the hell it was?

    Basketball was meant to be played on wood, even if the paint job is ugly.

    And Thomas reminds me of Dwayne "The Astronaut" Scales...

    Yes, Tartan Courts were the rage back in the 70's and early 80's. I remember my brothers playing I believe it was at Walker or somewhere around there that had one. I think Grand Isle High had one too before a flood ruined it. Centenary's Gold Dome still has it but it's not used as they have a portable wooden court that sits on top of the old court. Those Tartan Courts had a rubber surface but underneath it had a pad like a carpet pad. You could get a lot a bounce off of them.
    Thomas does remind me of Dwayne Scales too!
