I went on a USC forum to ask their fans if they feel the same way as the media or if they are giving LSU their credit and here's the link. http://mb25.scout.com/fuscfansfrm8.showMessage?topicID=4379.topic
Looking at the link, USC has at least one level-headed, rational thinking fan. I suspect he's going to be in the minority. :angryfire
For every one reasonable fan, there are a buttload of unreasonable fans (witnessed on LSU boards as much as any other)... http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=dw-peoplesvoice010206&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Austin sports talk shows have been all over this 3peat thing for several weeks. They have continually mentioned that LSU won the title 2 years ago, not USC. LSU has gotten good pub out of this deal, at least here locally. Take dead aim Horns.:thumb:
For the 5,000 time, (as I preach to the Chior) TO be consdered the National Champion, you have to Play in the National Championship game! Maybee the USC fans that think they are playing for the "3-peat" could produce the 2003 National Championship Trophy and that would justify their arguement. LSU 2003 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS (Hardware Included) :champs: :crystal:  :geauxtige LSU! :crystal: :champs:
was it here i saw the article (or did i hear it on jimmy ott?) about how if USC loses tonight what exactly have they won? in '03 they didnt play in the NC game and beat a Michigan team that was #8? BCS(im terrible with details if you havent noticed) in '04 they didnt play the second best team, beating an overrated OU team that stormed through a weaker big 12 much like USC beats up on a weak pac 10. and in '05 they would have lost the NC game. Dynasty? Greatest run ever? i dont think so.
When the Trojans win and brag about a threepeat, remember that they are posing with TWO crystal footballs.
