    Auburn got away with one there.

    But holy shit - they showed Auburn's schedule this year during that game. They have USCe and UGA from the East - in addition to the death march in the West!

    That is the hardest schedule I have ever seen*.

    *A strong case could be made for the LSU slate that had Oregon and West Va., but the SEC may not have been as strong.

    LSU beat 3 BCS bowl winners that season. 2 of them were conference champions.

    True, but four or five of Auburn's league opponents could probably win any other power conference.
