Wow two whole dollars. Way to stick it to the fans, Skip. :dis: Is it coincidence that the loudest complainer is riding the TF bus for free?
I don't mind stating my opinion in a civil way during a game, or in discussion with other fans. Regardless of that, I don't call people out for not contributing to this site just because I don't agree with their opinion. That's their business, not your's or mine (unless you've recenlty become an employee of the TIgerForums sales department, then I apologize). If someone wants to voice an opinion about ticket prices, that's fine. As long as they are buying them, they are entitled to whatever opinion they choose. If you want to disagree, then disagree, but I don't see the need in taking petty shots at people for failing to contribute just because they don't fall in line with the SabanFan philosophy. You seem to enjoy your role as dictator of the message board; maybe I'll give it a try.
I merely asked if it was a coincidence. Brett has made it optional to contribute and that's his call, but, unless you are a rival who lurks only during weeks before a game with their team, then you are taking advantage of Brett's generosity. Anyone with more than 50 posts should pay up. Especially those loudmouths who only have bad things to say about LSU and it's administration. LSUDAN was bitching about having to pay $2 more for a ticket. Tough **** if you can't handle me calling him out for not paying his share to express his opinion. I have never changed my style of posting in the 3 years I've been here. Suddenly, a lot of crybabies are up in arms about what I have to say. Post a contrary opinion and, if I'm inclined, I'll tell you what I think about it. Man up and try to prove me wrong rather than attempting to curry favor with a handful of SabanFan haters. I'm not going anywhere and I'm not changing my opinions. And, I paid my money.
Tough **** if you can't handle someone pointing out that you do just as much crying and b*tching as anyone else around here. I suggest you get used to it. I've paid my money, so I'll be around as well. Until a couple of days ago, I didn't think much of it, but your post I referenced about why you choose to stay home pretty well speaks for itself and explains your attitude. As was pointed out before, you could very well be the biggest whiner of them all, based on that post alone. In essence, you picked up your toys and ran home. As for your 50 free post limit, why don't you send Brett an email and suggest he make that the policy. At least try to do something about it other than attemtping to play Marshall Dillon. It gets a little old.
Put me on you "Ignore" list and learn to relax a little. I just cannot understand why some have a problem with me not attending the games. I'm 56 years old. I've been there, I've done that and I'm quite happy with the way I've chosen to spend LSU game days. Maybe after I retire I'll buy myself an RV and enjoy Tiger Stadium again. It's a personal decision and I'm giving up a seat to some one who really enjoys the entire experience. I wouldn't miss an LSU game on TV or radio for anything, including weddings, funerals, and whatever the f*** my wife thinks I should be doing. The 14 or 15 guys I watch the game with are lifetime LSU fans and often pass up a chance to go to the game because we have developed a nice little routine that suits us well. To each his own, my man. Don't criticize that which you know nothing about...which is what you have done for about 4 posts in a row.
Take your own advice and don't criticize folks like LSUDAN, because I'm pretty sure you know nothing about him. You've been doing this sort of thing for quite some time now.
