I dont know about all that. But I myself have never wanted to post anything over there. In due time, I will add their forum to my list...nah, probably not.

 

Either you don't hang at TF much or you're judging it by the recent troll-booting, but we have fans and rivals who dissect our teams weaknesses all the time.

When someone comes along as an obvious troll, it doesn't matter if he speaks the truth or not - trolling gets you booted. I happen to agree with just about everything 'Bamacharles' posted, but it was obvious he was trolling, so he got the boot.

If we were 'against free speech' why would we allow his posts to remain on the board? With one button click we can erase all his messages but we don't - why is that?

It's because we aren't against his message, but we are against his purpose.

It's going to take a 'perfect storm' of us playing our most complete, mistake-free game of the season while you guys play poorly for us to win. Any Bama fan who doesn't see that very few of our starters would start at LSU is fooling themselves. That being said, I'm not giving up on Bama and believe we have a chance - it might be small, but we have a chance...

 

Though I find the atmosphere a bit stifling, Tidefans has some great writers; Jess is top tier. I will also say I once saw something that was very damning to the tide program posted there. Few seemed to notice but I wrote a Mod and asked why they left this up. His response, "Because it's true". While I do not doubt that if I had posted the same I would have been banned, if you have a track record you can talk. The "spouting off" stuff that we take for granted here just doesn't get very far.

 

Well said, and yes...I am a bit "tarnished" by my experiences with Bama fans. I offer you an apology, but I have no reason to go on TF...I know I would not be welcome there. Later....

 

thats the jackass I was referring but couldnt remember. by having that guy as a mod gives it zero if not negative credibility.
