I've posted it over there several times. They don't like it much and it just gets them started on the "grandmothers pissing from the upper decks" business and a ton of their own rude Tiger Stadium quotes, not to mention that childish corndog routine.

What in the hell are you talking about? Man, you are going to have to come to grips one day with the fact that life isn't as dramatic as you think it is. I mean, look at you. All you seem to do is lurk on multitudes of other football team's forums and post whatever smack they are talking about LSU. Does all of that smack talk from a bunch of random internet retards who happen to like football REALLY piss you off? Do you just not have a job or something else that you can spend your time on? Why are you bashing me when all I did was say that since CadillacAttack was not talking trash here, then he should be allowed to stick around. How is that me "joining" him?

You have posted about 4 negative posts about me and I have not bothered to say anything but man, its been like freaking 2 months since whatever pissed you off occured. You seriously need some form of therapy.

The one that surprised me the most was UK, there fans are great and even though they are usually bad to avg. they get into the games and are pretty loud. I was there for the fire game and once way back when when we ran a half back pass on the first play of the game with Gilbert throwing a TD. They were louder back then then they were for the fire game. Ole Miss was not loud at all as the stadium was small and not filled the 2 times I was there and we beat them both times. Neyland is a grand experience but I've never been around such a quiet place with over a hundred thousand people in attendance except for Michigan. Most of the Tennessee fans are older and go strictly to watch the game and sit on their hands until they clap politely like they are at a play.

Of course I've been to many a game at Tiger Stadium and I think the loudest I ever heard was the Notre Dame game in 72 or 73. The stadium was completely full 2 hours before kickoff and erupted when ND came out for their pre-game warm-ups and never quieted down really. It is still the game that I most treasure seeing and I'm sure the players at Notre Dame can still vividly hear the noise. We are much louder than all other stadiums I've been too. Do we have a home field advantage, yes we do but in saying that the most important thing for a home field advantage is the team itself and n the nineties we simply had some bad teams that wouldn't have won no matter what. Hell, the advantage probably saved us from having much worse seasons in a few of those years, that's the way I look at it. The most telling home-field stat in college football is Miami's record streak at over 50 games I think, they didn't even sell out most of their games during the streak but their teams were awfully good; which tells me the team is much more important than the crowd but the crowd can make a difference when teams are closely matched.

I'm assuming by USC you mean South Carolina. They have a really cool looking stadium. Sits about 70 to 80,000, I think, but don't quote me. The noise levels weren't amazing, but nothing to be ashamed of. As far as how stadiums look, I think South Carolina's stadium and Bryant-Denny are two of the prettiest stadiums in the SEC. As far as ugliest goes, I think that award goes either to Ole Miss or Florida. The Vault looks like it's pieced together, and the Swamp is just weirdly hideous. For intimidation, I think it's a tie between Tiger Stadium and Neyland.

Tiger DH Nick Stavinoha was impressed

His appreciation for the passion and expectations of LSU fans grew from an unusual perspective. In 2000, he was a freshman deep snapper for the University of Houston football team when the Cougars lost 28-13 to LSU in Tiger Stadium.

"You can't forget that experience as an opponent," Stavinoha said. "Whenever I played football against LSU, that noise, that excitement, that energy in the stadium -- I never forgot it. I had the feeling that baseball at LSU would pretty much be the same, and it turned out to be that way."

Those necks from Auburn would be dumb enough to believe the urban myths about people throwing piss from the stands. There's a "true story" of that happening at every winning SEC school...interesting.

I wonder if they also believe in "cow tipping"....

Or for that matter, do they believe in actually winning the SEC Championship in Football....how many years has it been for them again?LMFAO
