Drove over the river on 7-23-2004 and saw the lights of Tiger Stadium on ...

WTF ... there's nothing going on now ...

wrong ... Louisiana High School All-Star in progress ... dammmmmmmitttttttt

Pulled up in the Admin parking lot with an ice chest fullo hot boudin and cracklins and walked right in ... ran immediately into some old friends and after a quick BS session ... was escorted to a sideline seat to watch the last half of the game ... ran into Tommy Casanova and a few other old buds watching the "rest of the bunch" All Stars ...

not one LSU signee was in the game ... Jay Lucas was in it ... biggest name on the list for recruiting

The new construction has the west side in a real mess ... but the new boards looked great, especially over the South End

The field looked good ... no colors yet ... maybe they'll get the eye of the Tiger on by Fan Day ... maybe not.

Anyway, it was sure great just to walk inside and see the game and the stadium and get the feel of that adrenaline rush.

On leaving, I stopped by Mike's cage and the new gift shop ... Mike IV was sprawled and strewn out on the concrete about 4 feet in front of me behind 2 gates just doing what Tigers do best ... lazing a summer's evening away

Life is good nowadays at LSU

you really should get your cholesterol checked being boudin and cracklins are your breakfast food.

    That's scary...

You should have been a little concerned when you saw Mike IV sprawled out in the cage considering he has been in retirement for about 15 years now and I believe he is deceased. J/K! I am sure Mike V looked great out there and will look better when his new cage is completed. :hihi:
