Anybody subscribe to a mailing list from Tigerrag? If so, is the email something like [email protected]? I have been getting emails from there today and haven't signed up for any mailing lists..... Of course, I am also getting all the replies to that list too. Must be a problem with some listserv out there, but don't know how I got on it.... Anybody else getting these damn mailing?
I've received hundreds of similar emails today. I assume some email virus is at fault and is picking up addresses from our machines and spreading mail. Don't reply to the Tigerrag address! You will just send more messages out with your return address on them. I called the system administrator at LSU and he said just forget them. Great advice, huh?
Is that a legitimate source, or just your own speculation/rumor? If that's true, we need to let TAF know about this....
It's reliable enough..... that I've been directed to someone within the TAF by their receptionist who is handling what appears to be a deluge of calls. We're in phone tag as of this post, but I soon as I hear something either way I'll report back.
