Bases loaded 1 out and Tigers hit into another DP. Oh well we are up by nine so it doesn't hurt that bad.

You'd have thought we could have scored one of those runners, though. Oh well. At least it looks like we'll win this series...barring a complete and total breakdown.

Kentucky gets two single to open their seventh inning. Let's squelch the rally!

OK guys...Did anyone else come away impressed with Shane Boyd today? For not having a lot of time to focus on baseball, the guy can bring some HEAT. He can place his pitches, but the lack of polish on the other pitches in his reportoire shows how he has to participate in spring practice and can't spend time in the bullie with a pitching coach during the week.

Brooks and even Morris before him tried to give the starting QB job to him over Lorenzen, and it's not doubt that he's nothing if not just as strong armed as the Battleship Lorenzen. He's athletic, but didn't have that gunslinger/sandlot attitude and mentality and playing ability to him.

Great story, if you ask me...I always love the guys who use their ability to the best of their ability...The dual sport athlete is such a rarity in today's day and age...

I'll tell you what I thought about him. I saw him get shelled. Not impressed at all.
