Tigers at #1 in AP

Having us first helps bama in two ways if we win they can say we lost to the # 1 team so you cant drop us too far, and secondly if they win they can say the beat the #1 team. You can damn well believe those narratives are already underway.

 

I mean, it would be an accurate stance either way, LOL.

I’m going to focus on my Tigers. As long as they are in the top 4 at end of season, and in the playoffs, I can give a rats ass what Bama’s claims or angles are.

 

My problem with it is bama can schedule these pansy ass schedules and be gifted with a second shot every year. If lsu beats bama on its home turf as a double digit dog, why should they get a second shot.

 

His birthday is this week. Oct 31. Halloween.

 

As close as the scores are, tOSU will probably jump to one in the bye week if they win

 

Unless I'm blind Ohio State also has a bye, so it's not gonna happen for better or worse

 

Oh I didn't realize that. My bad.

 

I actually think our hold on #1 gets stronger during bye week as those northeasterners come to realize that we are the first team in modern era to beat 3 teams in top 10. Once that settles in, we’ll get more votes. Reminiscent of 2011 magic season where we beat like 8 teams in top 25, or something like that.....still one of the most impressive stretches of any college team ever.
