I suspect the reason he had problems last year was the injured elbow. He had it cleaned up since last season.
I was under the impression that his elbow didn't start bothering him till the later part of the season. He seemed to struggle all season. Also, if his elbow was that big of a problem, why'd he do so great in the Capitol One Bowl? I think the problem was more a lack of experience, trying to "aim" the ball to much and not knowing the routes as well as he should have.
This LSU team doesn't need a QB to win games, you just need someone with a heart beat to hand the ball off to your runningbacks and play defense. I could QB this LSU team to at least 8-9 wins.
I do not know wether we need one or not (I think we do) but you guys at Auburn do not have one. Handing the ball to the running back is fine at Auburn. (After all thats what Tubby town has been all about the last couple of years.) But this is LSU and we play serious ball here.
Last time I checked this was the SEC and playing "serious ball" was part of the game plan for ALL teams... :dis:
You're right, he may want to go look at AU's passing stats from last year. They threw the ball pretty effectively. I hope the new guys isn't good.
yeah.. thats what everyone said last year.. then when we couldnt throw, everyone stacked the box against us and we couldnt run either....
