Go check out the woopig board... it's really funny because they are going on about why he was in.... calling people "crackers" and "jigs" left and right....
well its there own fault for not keeping mike anderson around...thats the real guy they should of hired.
Wow.... how am I that far out of the loop?.... Me and apparently half the student section, because we were really confused when Auburn's coach got a Technical, they still had the ball, but I swore that we had the ball when Brady got Td up, and Auburn got possession again....
The official rule is "play is resumed at the point of interruption". When concerning a technical foul, point of interruption is defined as "By awarding a throw-in nearest to where the ball was located after any technical foul(s) to the team that was in control with no reset of the shot clock." I do remember the play you are talking about and was confised at the game as well. Either the refs made a mistake or it was simply a delayed call in which the refs were calling a technical for something brady said before it changed possession to Auburn. In that game though, both coaches were upset with the officiating. Every player and fan in the PMAC seemed to be as well. So it would not surprise me if they blew that call and awarded the ball to Auburn in error.
He was thinking he'd need good FT shooters in the game. White boys usually do that quite well, but those balls in his throat made him choke.:thumb:
Classic! :hihi: So true, so true. This is a game after looking into it more, our "fans" will probably say, Brady did some decent coaching at the end fouling McCurdy, our "pretend fans" might say, why did he let a 14 point lead dwindle... In any case, I'm just relieved it's a win. Bottomline, the team responded with great execution on the play to get D.Mitch free (no timeouts called... apparently Brady has worked with them on that play), and D.Mitch (who has to go down in my book as one of the best (perhaps not "greatest"--I suppose you could argue that's Stro') players of Brady's era) just nails it. Tennessee still has to play UK again. Florida, plays us, but even if we lose, we're tied with Florida with 2 losses. And doesn't Florida play Tenn again? :geauxtige
