Sounds like Mett is healing quickly. With regards to his "off the field" issues, do NFL teams see that as something to be concerned about? My perception is that he's a good kid that will handle himself as a true professional at the next level (i.e. Manziel and Clowney have more risk in that area).

When you combine the injury issue, potential (?) off-field issues, and having Beckham/Landry plus a beast like Jeremy Hill to keep defenses honest all year, I'm not sure if I would consider him to be a 2nd round pick like some are projecting. I will be rooting for him wherever he goes though.

As with every year, the QB's this year are all over the board. I still like Mett in the early second. Still want to see what he does today. A scout I know will be there today, hope to hear back from him tonight or tomorrow. You can bet Cam got calls on many of the LSU players, thats what NFL teams do, try and get all the info on every player on their board. Landry will run a better time and things will be great. GEAUX TIGERS.....

Landry weighted in at 196# today, at the combine, he weighed 205. He can turn a good time at that weight.

    To add:

Just in Landry ran a 4.58

Jeremy Hill just rocked his 40 yard. Ran a 4.52 and a 4.54. Combine he ran a 4.66. This should help his draft stock quite a bit since his knock was he was too slow to outrun people.

That sounds pretty fast for his size.

Yeah. That's darn fast. And he weighed in at the same weigh as the combine. When you keep in mind that he did 20 reps on the bench press, the same as Freak, only way to say it is Hill is a beast.

I understand why RBs are not as prioritized these days but Hill has all of the makings of a great NFL RB.

Yeah he really does. People had him going in the 4th round. I've been saying on the saints board for awhile he'd be a steal in the 4th. I have a feeling he's going to be moving up after today however.
