Agree, how did a guy thats not even on your team get a + rating?
What they said was, Cooks led all wideouts in catches, yards and TD's, till his season was ended.

Yep position does come into play. I too think OBJ should have been rated the highest in last years draft. He set a rookie record with 108.8 yds/game. Gonna guess its a misprint, due to this statement in the book: "Beckham finished with more value than any rookie WR except for Randy Moss."

And due to their respective character I'd say OBJ has him beat there as well

apparently, the teams knew about this long ago so its not a big deal from what i read. our squeaky clean coach musta gave him a pass.

Report: CB Jalen Collins failed multiple drug tests at LSU

LSU cornerback Jalen Collins had "multiple failed" drug tests while in college, according to a report by NFL Network's Albert Breer.

Collins is the No. 64-rated prospect in the 2015 NFL Draft class by NFLDraftScout.com, but is graded as a potential late first-round pick by some scouts. He started just 10 career games in LSU's talented secondary and is seen as a raw prospect with a high ceiling.

Collins ran a 4.48-second 40-yard dash at the scouting combine, adding a 36-inch vertical. He has excellent size at 6-feet-1 and 203 pounds and excels in man coverage. However, his lack of experience and reported failed tests at LSU could weigh down his draft stock.

Other cornerbacks with second-round grades by NFLDraftScout.com include Florida State's P.J. Williams and Quinten Rollins of Miami (Ohio).

So the greatest defensive player in the history of LSU football gets booted for failed drug tests but Collins doesn't?

Tyrann Mathieu, Jordan Jefferson, two other former LSU Tigers arrested on drug charges

    on October 25, 2012 at 5:21 PM

Four former LSU football players, including 2011 Heisman Trophy finalist Tyrann Mathieu and quarterback Jordan Jefferson, were arrested for possession of marijuana Thursday in Baton Rouge. Also arrested were linebacker Karnell Hatcherand defensive back Derrick Bryant.

Mathieu and Jefferson were charged with simple possession of marijuana, Hatcher was charged with second offense simple possession of marijuana, and Bryant was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. All four were booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Thursday night.

The foursome was arrested between 3:30 and 4 p.m. at an apartment complex at 262 West State St., according to a Baton Rouge Police Department news release.

Police were called to investigate a complaint that a man, later identified as Jefferson, tried to force his way into a gated apartment complex. He exchanged words with a maintenance worker and entered apartment No. 2116 before police arrived. Mathieu answered the door when officers knocked and granted them permission to search the premises, according to the release.

The officers immediately noticed a strong odor of marijuana and found Jefferson, Hatcher and Bryant, as well as a marijuana grinder, digital scale and 10 bags of high-grade marijuana, according to the release. Seven of the bags were in Bryant's book bag.

Jefferson had returned to Baton Rouge to finish his degree after spending time with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He had a short stint as a free-agent signee with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to joining the Alouettes.

All but Mathieu finished their eligibility last season when the Tigers went 13-1 and lost to Alabama in the BCS championship game.

Mathieu was kicked off the team Aug. 10 for multiple failed drug tests, but had re-enrolled as a student after undergoing two weeks of rehabilitation under the care of former NBA star John Lucas. Mathieu had expressed interest in going back to school and possibly returning to the team for the 2013 season with two seasons of eligibility. He is also eligible to apply for the NFL draft in April.

Jefferson was scheduled for a discovery hearing on Tuesday for his trial on a charge of simple battery in connection with the Shady's bar fight incident last year, according to Jefferson's attorney Lance Unglesby. A trial date is expected to be set at the hearing, East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore said.

Moore said Jefferson is still presumed innocent of both charges but the latest arrest could affect his previous bond conditions and that a judge would have to review it.

Unglesby said he spoke with Jefferson's father, John Jefferson, about the Thursday arrest but had no other details.

"All individuals are presumed innocent," Ungelsby said. "I look forward to the opportunity to examine the facts in this case to find out what really happened. My opinion of Jordan Jefferson as a fine young man remains the same."

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said LSU officials would not be commenting on the arrests since it involved former players. One player did confirm that Miles told the team about the arrests after practice.
