It’s early in my neck of the woods, so I thought I’d start this weeks thread. The Tigers are coming off of 2 straight weeks of tough sledding for the tweener game against MSU, before we get Bama in 2 weeks. Trap game? Emotional letdown? Nah!!!! The Tigers will be ready! It’s homecoming with new uni’s, and it’s Saturday night in Death Valley! These Tigers are hungry. They don’t assume they are the 5th best team in the country, they know they have to keep working hard, and it starts with the unassuming, hard-working QB from the Midwest with a new Cajun spelling, Jeaux Burreaux. But, the Tigers D will have their hands full with the MSU running attack featuring an excellent running QB and stud RB. MSU will get their yards, and score to keep the game close, but in the end, the difference maker may be another new comer, Coleaux Tracy! Geaux Tigers! We comin’!!!!
Ceauxl Tracy? There are so many players you could highlight, but Eaux has them playing like a team. I expect a (bull)dogfight; though they aren’t a marquee opponent, this will be a true test of LSU’s meddle. I said somewhere else that this game is probably more important than the Alabama game. Winning at Bama would be great, but if LSU wants to be a true contender it has to be able to win against the mid tier of the SEC. We already lost to FU (I think they have a good shot vs UGA). A win here and the unthinkable is still a possibility - a shot at the NC. The story of this season is still being written.
This time we need to pass to set up the run. Quick slants, 3 step drops. Also use tempo to wear the Mooi line down.
MSU may pound the ball, but I expect Coach E will stay aggressive on the attack when we have the ball. That along with a few stops by the D will give the Tigers at least a 2 TD WIN!!
