You know what, all them bad calls and Ole Smoke never came out the dugout one time. I think he needs to start fighting for his team and let them know that so maybe it can light a fire in there ass. Another thing I cant stand is that lefty righty crap. Gill gets one bat in two games and hits a bomb. One of our best hitters on the team sitting the bench because a lefty is on the mound, doesnt make much sense.

Same here. Subbing people in and out of the lineup makes sense for the Quinn Stewart's, Bruce Sprowl's, and Derek Hebert's of the team. Let Blake Gill play everyday, I think he has earned it.

Blake's shoulder may be bothering him more... which may explain why he is sitting post season, when he hardly ever sat regular season, take that into acct.

Well take this into account, Playing first base dont put much strain on your shoulder. Trust me, that is not the case. Smoke is just a lefty righty dumbass.

Then why hasn't Smoke done this all year... Blake has sat out maybe 2-3 games all year with his shoulder, I just think its odd he would take the 4th best hitter out of our line up by the Lefty/Righty code.... I think Blake may have tweaked it last week and was being sat for precaution. Even though 1B isnt that stressful on a shoulder, he is still screwed with relays... he still isn't throwing hard enough and is hardly pain free (due to rushing his recovery). Before you blame Smoke, I think you should think about the possibility that there may have been some injury or pain that cause him to sit Blake.

Thats it pal, I'm so heartbroken that Missouri will never be the great LSU. It's great to create stuff like that. haha I could care less about missouri baseball b/c I dont get into college baseball. Having said that, Jim was out of line with his criticizing of the official. There was no need for all of that. I understand that umps make bad calls, and I agree that the call is not one that should be made to end a game. But, do you think that LSU hasnt gotten calls before? LSU has been the beneficiary of bad calls at times. Remember the Alabama football game? Pass interfence no call in the endzone anybody? huh huh I love JH and his enthusiasm for LSU, but common, no official needs that. It's ashame when your announcer does more questioning then the coach. I agree with RP's comments when he said, it shouldnt have come down to that. Also, I coulda swore that your taught to always run to first in a questionable situation like that. A ball in the dirt with 2 strikes, you may have swung, maybe not, when in doubt run to first.

Maybe some blame should be put on the players as opposed to the officials. Sure they made bad calls but tahst a part of the game. Maybe if LSU could play 9 innings instead of the last 3 innings like they have recently, they could win some more games. This game was basically a carbon copy ofthe marist game except Rice is a much better team then marist and was able to hold off LSU late.

What about basketball? Since 1998 Mizzou has 5 NCAA's( including an elite 8 run). LSU has 3 tourney appearances and got blown out in the first round in 2 of them? Needless to say I dont really care about these things b/c I support both basketball programs but I just wanted to counter your point. I'm not gunna argue that LSU is a much better athletic program then Mizzou. But, your little insult means nothing b/c never once have I come on here and said that LSU wasnt a far better program. So KTeam just needs to sleep off this loss tonite and go out to the Box tomorrow and hope for the best. See ya there Buddy.

If you don't follow or even like college sports, then why do you hang out on a College Team forum, just go away, this place is great without you.
