    We will need them both at MLB this year. Welter is a senior and will probably start in the opener, but I expect Beckwith to perhaps get as much or more playing time. Welter will be needed making the calls and recognizing the plays versus a complicated spread offense against Auburn and the like and he's better in pass defense. But Beckwith will be needed against power running games like Wisconsin.

    He might have gained a few pounds but just a few, his body type is what it is. But he won't be asked to go over the middle in front of the safeties I'd guess.

    good point

    reminds me of Toliver, he never really was able to add on to his angular frame
