It will be Baylor vs LSU. It is up in the air if we will start on Friday or Saturday. ESPN will be staggering start times for TV. We should find out tommorow.
National seeds host a super-regional if they win their regional. No its not automatic but it would be breaking precedent if a national seed didn't host.
I hadn't realized that Baylor didn't host the regional they won. I find it unlikely that we'd play at their site because of that.
Baylor was the #1 seed in the Hattieburg Regional. As long as a National Seed wins their regional they host a Super-Regional. LSU is the #2 National Seed so Baylor will come here. I was rooting for a Southern v LSU Super Regional. 2 Wins away from Ohmaha!!! Can you smell it??
Any info on this Baylor team. Pitchers and at the plate? I'm disappointed in the overall performance of Bo! today. I hope that he will come around, he has the potential to be a dominating pitcher. I'm not a big fan of Smoke, but I do believe in giving credit where it's due. He's done a fantastic job with nine players out with injury. In a way, I'm kinda getting excited about next season already. If Smoke can accomplish what he has this season with a depleted pitching staff, and young players, barring injuries next season, as loaded as LSU should be, the sky is the limit.
