Well, at least the thread is making me feel ok about one thing in New York, we can get a 30 pack of the standard American beers - Miller Lite, Miller, The Bud family and others for 17.99. That being said, I have a taste for the crafts and Belgian beers which impacts the budget.

 

I lived in the Charleston area for a while. Would go back in a heartbeat.

a pack of cigs in nyc is over 14 bucks a pack I believe. a carton was 100 bucks when your gf krista used to smuggle them back.
