From what Bhelm said weeks ago, we weren't that interested. Apparently there are some issues with him.

Well he's highly rated, but I'd rather have a 3 star, hard working, good character kid, then a 5 star prima donna. Good to know.

Will trade him for Beckwith everyday. Beckwith will be a monster, Williams not so much.

Been keeping a keen eye on the likes of Vonn Bell, Laremy Tunsil, Dee Liner, Matthew Thomas, even Reuben Foster, though he comes across as a flake and a half, not sure Saban is even interested.

At 6'3" and 235, Tim Williams has good measurables and projects as a LB in the Saban system. Just haven't heard much on him. If he looks anything like another LA kid, Denzel Devall, I'll take him though.

What would Alabama be without Louisiana.

He actually wanted to stay close to home and recently expressed that to LSU but we couldn't make any promises we would have room come NSD. LSU and staff decided to pass on him months ago because of some off the field stuff and even some on the field stuff. LSU staff has a few kids attending and playing ball at U-high so they know the situation. Actually worked out good for him IMO. LSU was recruiting him strictly at DE and that would mean a Mingo type body transformation but even more given his frame. Probably a 2-3 year project. Bama may have a chance to get him ready slightly earlier at LB but he still needs at least 40 pounds added. Miami was a no go because of his child and distance. This gives him a mid point.

235 is a very favorable listed weight.
