He should do everything possible to help his team's salary cap problem. I think he could still be a successful qb if he had some more weapons, but that ain't happening this year. At this point they should be feeding the ball to Ingram 30 times a game, make him earn his dough.

if anyone would have told me ingram would be the biggest and lone bright spot on this team i may have punched them in the face for being a retard. apparently its the best 4 million we've spent, relatively speaking. thank god i got half price sunday ticket this year.

Aren't you a bit early jumping on the Mark Ingram bandwagon? In 2 games one halfway decent performance and one crappy game

I think it's time for the Saints to see if he can produce when he is fed the rock 25-30 times a game like he was in Tuscaloser.

At this point I don't think it matters, the Saints aren't going to win many. Best bet is to get the young talented players as many reps as possible, prepare for the draft and figure out a way to make some cap space. With all the dead money involved I'm not sure how much they can do. Better get some guys on board that are much much better at drafting too.

No but whatever they pay him won't count against the cap. Is Carmen Policy still alive?

That's the right move. Why take a chance of aggravating Brees shoulder.

I agree. BTW, Brees' first missed start due to injury as a Saint.
