True, but it may inspire someplace like Vermont to have a vote in the future.

I'm not interested in slaying Democrats. I just want left-wing liberals gone. It just happens to be that the people running the country are left-wing liberal Democrats who aren't even remotely interested in coming back to the middle therefore they're the ones who need to be slayed/removed.

Hopefully the administration will move to the center like Clinton did. I doubt it because I've never seen a politician as arrogant as Obama.

I hope the Republicans focus on what's best for the country and not engage the Democrats as they continue to whine about Bush and blame their ineffectiveness on what they inherited.

We need to end the Redistribution of Wealth, delay and rewrite the Health Care Reform, and kill this ridiculous crap about Cap & Trade.

This isn't working and it's not due to a lack of patience on behalf of the general public. They see this for what it is and are saying...Hell NO to this liberal agenda.

    GOD bless America!

Hopefully we're near the end of the WORST Congress in U.S. history.

i have hope for this congress. now the gop will have some responsibility and will be forced to compromise. the filibuster the gop used as a crutch will be virtually ineffective.

I'm hopeful that once the Wicked Witch of the West is out and Harry Reid is slobbering drool on his grandkids' story books, Obama will be more inclined to do what's best for all Americans, not just trying to make up for years of non-far left liberal rule.

you mean do what's best for you and yours and the people who think like you. personally i think it's going to be fun watching him veto everything that comes across his desk and give the GOP a taste of their own medicine.

    Correct. The majority of Americans.

Their own medicine? The Dems have controlled both houses of Congress for over 3 years. The GOP hasn't been able to even slow a bill let alone have veto power. The libs like to say the Republicans hav e been obstructive but that's ridiculous. They have no ability to obstruct. Everything people are now railing against is because of the Democrats...exclusively.

didn't mean the veto power, just meant saying no to anything and everything regardless. but i do agree with you to an extent about the democrats. they are their own worst enemy, and a bunch of pu$$ies.

So what if they said No? They could have said FK You and it wouldn't make any difference. They didn't have the votes. The 3 Musketeers were ramming a Socialist agenda down our throats. GD right they were saying NO because we, the people, were SCREAMING "NO!!!".

it's their way or the highway, and if you think for a second they have your best interest in mind, man, you are sorely mistaken. they may cut back spending on some things, but then they are going to try and turn around and spend more money on other things, things that their special interests are concerned about.

quit acting like the GOP is just so much holier than the democrats, they are all a bunch of ****ing crooks. NONE of which have the American people's best interest at heart.
