1. I was at LSU then and Ensminger was the passer, Woodley ran all the time.

  2. I saw them play too. Woodley was drafted & spent about 7 years in the NFL mostly as a backup QB. Ensminger wasn't drafted.

  3. True and Woodly was a tragic figure who led the Dolphins to the playoffs then was replaced by Dan Marino. He left us too early. Steve certainly didn’t have the talent but he gave everything he had in every position/job he had. He deserves honor.

  4. Woodley led the Dolphins to a Super Bowl, the one where Riggins had his great "Diesel" run. I think Woodley was the first rookie QB to ever start in a Super Bowl.
  5. Wish him well but TJ couldn’t find an open receiver with GPS and a Ouija board . Not SEC material
  6. Had we started Ensminger over Woodley we would’ve beat USC in ‘79
  7. Rank speculation. No one knows
  8. In a 2 QB system, it doesn't matter who starts, it matters who finishes.
  9. If memory serves the key play in that game was a (close call) face mask penalty that gave USC a first down instead of having to punt.

  10. That’s right and I always thought one of the USC guards moved before the snap and the play should have been blown dead before any facemask. I was at the game and it happened right in front of my seats.
