Not even close, he's from Bastrop like Rueben Randle and Josh Downs, and that's out in the middle of nowhere in the NE tip of LA by the Arkansas and MS state lines. the 4 closest SEC schools are... 4 hours to LSU 4 hours, 10 min to Ole Miss 4 hours, 15 min to Miss State 4 hours, 45 min to Bama
Oh yeah, another guy from Bastrop is Parade All-American and Louisiana Mr. Football Randall Mackey, who just had 671 yards from scrimmage (6.5 avg) as a senior for Ole Miss, including 85 vs LSU (7.1 avg) and 1 TD....and 44 vs Bama (8.8 avg) and 1 TD...and 91 vs aTm (11.4 avg) He's another one who didn't get his grades in high school that i would have loved to see in the Purple and Gold
With Tim Williams from Baton Rouge we at least keep the pipe line open this year. And we got Raheem Falkins from New Orleans making his way to T-Town. Now if that Beckwith fellow would just cooperate.
Then both schools got who they wanted. For Devall to play the significant minutes he did with the talent and numbers at LB depth in front of him was quiet an achievement. Have you noticed, we are starting to collect a lot of fringe, lawn furniture with multiple NC rings?
those NC rings apparently don't mean that much to you if you're spending your time on an LSU forum needling Tiger fans about the two 4-star LBs y'all signed from LA instead of soaking up, what to other Bama fans not obsessed with LSU's greatness, is the glory years of Alabama football (at least in the last 35 years)
I agree "I am" I'll be darned if I'm gonna like it when Nick Saban steals a piece of 24 karat gold from my home.
