I'm not defending the coaches so much as I'm pointing out the stupidity of some of the bashers' posts. I can't tell yet whether Miles will be a resounding success. I also can't say that he won't. What is the point of pointing out every little thing that he may have done wrong? Shoot, I was doing that with the Saban bashers after the UAB and Ole Miss losses and I had no clue as to what was to come. Before TF, I did not frequent any forums. I mainly checked Dandy Don and found this off of a link on his site. If I had been posting during the Tepper years, I assure you I would have been a basher. But the reasons were many and clearly justified. Miles is 8-1 with an unfortunate loss in a game we should have won*. I see no reason for the wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth. *See LSU vs. UF 2003. One bad loss is insufficient justification for bashing a head coach.
please explain to me....i have one question: all you people that bitch and moan about everything the coaches do and you have such better ways to play a football game....why arent you all coaches?? man, it just blows my mind...why didnt you go into coaching? maybe you could be leading the lsu tigers to an 8-1 record just coming off of beating a 9-0 #3 team in the country...why dont you all just shut the **** up and enjoy the fact that we are 8-1, just beat a 9-0 #3 bama team, and control our own destiny....otherwise start coaching brec football teams:geauxtige
Most every small problem we've had this year has been over reacted to. By many posters here, including myself. No one is exempt. There have been more than a few, jump to conclusion posts and some down right dumb AZZ posts. No examples given. Maybe we should use this Bama victory to start anew and step back and look at the sucesses and let some of the short comings rest? For they are fewer than most teams have. The TIGERS are having a grand year. You say you have valid points why the coaching is bad, and our players step up and save the game. Players performance depends a great deal on leadership of coaches. :thumb: Yeah, early in the season I had lot's of thoughts on the decisions of our coaches, but I have been 'intelligent' enough to see the improvements every week. (Not sure what game you and your little buddies have been watching) As we wrap up a 10-1 season, beat whoever in the SECCG and go bowling in the BCS, some of you will still be complaining.
