well, the orlando sentinel has made it official in today's paper.........the risk to most of us from eating raw oysters is small (it also discounted the typical wive's tales like that aphrodesiac thing, months with "r", etc.)......regardless......tonite, dinner consists of a pint of raw oysters (yep, old snort's shuckin' days are long gone).......some scallops sauteed in lemon creole butter (using chef paul's seasoning).......and the remains of the jambalaya smothered with turkey gumbo........lordy, lordy......snort already feels a tigah in his tank...

Only when I am near the ocean! Raw oysters at a restaurant in the middle of KY kind of scares me. Otherwise I eat the fire out of 'em. So far I am pretty normal....well on second thought... anyway I am still going to eat 'em.
