I wouldn't read all that much into this situation. This is the last few weeks of recruiting season and I suspect that several recruits will be on the OSU campus. Gundy may have just figured that he doesn't want to have any of the players start reflecting on the old program with the new recruits. As the old saying goes, "out of sight, out of mind." This is not to be compared with the recruiting squabbles that seem to be emerging between Zook and Meyer. Meyer is trying to set parameters for Zook to follow regarding the kids that Zook talked with while he was the Florida coach and on Florida time. Alton Starr, a recruit out of Atlanta, Georgia, gave a verbal to Illinois this week. Bryan Evans is also in the mix. Zook talked the kid into an on-site visit to Illinois even when he hasn't officially been on the Florida campus. Zook got the worm.
