My prayers are with you. Peace to you, your family, and most importantly-to your Mom. If she is aware of things, do not hesitate to tell her that you will always appreciate what she has done for you, the things she may have deprived herself for---for you. How VERY MUCH YOU LOVE HER....there will NEVER be another chance. You will never regret kind words---only harsh ones. :bncry: BEEN THERE

    Bayareatiger,

I was in a similar situation with my Mother back in August, her health had declined and was in really bad shape. The doctors told us to come ICU as the end was near. I couldn't summon the power to be with her (just because I didn't wish to see her hurting that way) at first I thought she would know why I couldn't be there, but I would be denying Mothers' right of passage (to have all of her children around her), so I went to her to try and comfort her in her time of need. What I found out though was an amazing turn of events, as emotional as I was, I found that I was not the person giving the comfort, it was in fact Mom who was comforting me.

I hope and pray that your Mother does the same the same for you. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you and yours and we all here at Tiger Forums look forward to your return.

I'm very sorry to hear that, bayareatiger. I know what you're going through. Ii lost my Mother shortly after Christmas (Jan. 15, 1987) and my Dad passed away on Father's Day in 2000. I pray that the rest of your family is OK and healthy.
From your many posts I have the feeling that if we we to meet face to face we probably would at least recognize each other from having attended the same concerts or knowing some of the same people.

    God be with you.

You're a good man! God Bless you & Remember this!

Everyone passes into the spirit ... then they come back again between 4-100 years later ... reincarnation is truth ... tens of thousands of past life regressions aren't wrong ... they all tell the same story ... your mother's spirit will show up again in a child or grandchild ... we all come back along family lines ... and the spirit never dies ... so said the Lord.

Here are the words of a spiritual painting I keep on my wall.

    Footsteps In The Sand
    Author unknown

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

    The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

From one 70's era Tiger to another - be strong, have faith, endure the storm and look forward to better days. Know that you have been a blessing to your mother. God is with you and your family. You are in my prayers, brother.
