    There is an underlying premise to your point that "Les' decision" was completely voluntary and that JL didn't paint himself in a corner by cutting classes or some other transgression of team rules.

    As an example, if Miles had a rule that says 'if you don't attend X% of your classes, you won't play' and JL was habitually cutting classes, Miles would have had no choice but to bench JL or team discipline would have been out of the window.

    We don't know the facts and there are "team matters" that Les and no one else on the team will talk about outside of the locker room. What happens in the locker room stays in the locker room.

    Are you saying Miles did in fact have this rule or you just making it up. We do JL was dressed in uniform, practiced and ready to play. We also know JL graduated. What we don't know is this so called "rule" you speak of. If JL was benched he doesn't go down to NOLA and he doesn't dress in uniform with the team but we all so if there and dressed.
