Miles is NOT a conservative coach...ie. the flea flicker to put the game away - but it didn't work. He's smart enough to take a shot here and there... and when your qb is injured and not having his best day, you let the rbs do their job - get your win and call it a day. And oh, btw, it was drenching out there - you don't think that comes into play? Damn freakin' noob! :dis:
"On the offense, we need to feel obligated not to allow that ball to get picked. We didn’t call that one or wanted that one called." - Les Miles after the game.. You mean that flea-flicker?
Yup, but that's why I said it didn't worked. But if it did...yall would be on your knees bowing to the HAT for 2 trick plays and out-foxing the ol' ball coach. (that no look, over the shoulder was a hoot though...I'm still laughing everytime I see it). Look, I'm just saying Les wants to put the game away too, but Flynn wasn't 100% today so we gotta do what we have to do to win - which means run the Rbs... It was a good win.:thumb:
Na, had that worked, I'd have cheered and looked at my best friend and said it was a dumb call considering the circumstances.. just like I did when it got picked off... But I wasn't taking a shot at ya, I was just saying I thought it was funny what he said that about it in the press conf... actually there's a thread that said in a video he said it was a "coaching mistake"... whatever that means.. lol I agree with ya.. when we needed to be conservative on the pass we did.. because we still have a very good running game and we can do that. I love it actually.. lol PS - and yeah when we got that int before the fake FG.. I thought I'd seen it all.. then that masterpiece... I loved it.
Your post is factually incorrect on every level. Instead of trying in prove things that are false, just post that you didn't like the Miles hire, so people know what your problem is & won't waste thier time.
You've been lurking around here for two years without posting and this is the best you can come up with? Where were you after the dominating VT win? Play great, post nothing. Play poorly in one half and the sky is falling.
We all know the team could have played better in some areas in parts of the game, like in any game. Guess you don't have the faith in the coaching staff in identifying them and fixing it:dis:
