I bet the author is going by the same quote that Potted Plant is thinking of though, because I don't remember Miles ever specifically saying that Lee would not redshirt.

If RP is back on the team, I don't see why we wouldn't redshirt Lee. There's no way he'll get more than 10 snaps this year being 3rd on the depth chart...
