If you're willing to pay 6.8 million, over 7 million with incentives to Jimbo, then why not pay Herman? I get he is not as proven, but he has done just as much, with less at Houston. Jimbo has not won at a high level without Jameis, who is probably one of the better QB's we've seen over the years.

On the other hand, all of it is a moot point because Herman wants the Texas job. Also, if he was hypothetically, equally interested in both then Texas would outbid LSU.

Jimbo could wipe his ass with Herman's resume. But I woulda paid him just to rid lsu of the Les miles culture on offense still lingering here.

You don't know me...I dont do links but report what I hear to the board but there are links out there explaining the $7.5 if you want to dig around. But give me a link that says we offered Herman $6M. LOL

Shit I can say I am worth $10M but no one here is paying me that.

I think you are confused and just proved my point with the link. Herman requested $6M and we said not happening and didn't even counter because we felt he wasn't worth near that much. His agent is doing it right though...leveraging to push his number up with competition from LSU but we didn't bite.
