1. Herman was oc at osu when cardale jones whipped bama. Nick and Kirby smart flew Herman in for consultation due to the nature in which Jones gashed them.

  2. Well Herman was a grad assistant at Texas for 1 year. He was also a coach in some form or fashion at a college in Texas from 98-2008. So he has ties to the state however he is from Ohio and went to college in California, it really all depends on what he sees as the best opportunity. What team could he contend with next season? It's not A&M, it's not Texas.

  3. Of course you want me to go away I dont agree with you! Ignorance like water seeks the path of least resistance. There are a bunch of fools here who hate Aleeva but are clamering for him to do something foolish hire a couple of guys who are not the answer here, rather ironic. The answer is O, another big time OC to satisfy the barbarians and pay the helk out of Aranda. Why dont you just ugnore my post?
  4. I could live with that.
  5. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh he was not the head coach for the last 12 years. He didnt make the decisions and has only been there 2 years. Geeze throw me an overhand pitch.
  6. The answer is O huh? Yet until he put on the Interim tag he was the DL coach, a unit that has gotten manhandled late in the game in the 2 most important games of the year at home. But yet you think O can take LSU to the promise land. As I said earlier, LSU's ceiling under O is 8/9 wins in regular season.
  7. He was still coaching that particular group of players tho was he not? So if he's so great, why isn't that particular part of LSU football stellar? You're a fucking joke.

  9. The answer isn't Pete Jenkins who has been the DL coach. Pete Jenkins forgot more about football yesterday than any of us on this board know combined.

The problem with the defensive line is personnel. Greg Gilmore is one of the worst starting defensive tackles we have had in a very long time. Lewis Neal has played way better than anyone thought but he isn't a DE for the 3-4. At the beginning of the season one of the fears I had was that Valentine would be the best nose tackle but would fuck up somehow and not play, and that pretty much came to pass. I think LSU will be better on the DL next year because Lawrence will be ready, hopefully by then Valentine will have his shit together, and you also have Ed Alexander and I would bet Godchaux will be back. Key will be back Devin White should surpass Donnie Alexander at the other MLB position, then you have Divinity at the other outside spot maybe Clark or Sci Martin could win that job. In the defensive backfield you lose your 2 best players. Hopefully Savion Smith, and Kristian Fulton can step up because Kevin Tolliver has been a disappointment, hopefully he gets his shit together because the secondary is where im concerned along with the depth at DL.

Offensive line, you lose Pocic, who has been playing out of position, hopefully someone with a brain figures out Teuhema isn't a tackle and Will Clapp shouldn't be a starter. KJ Malone will get better, and I thought Andy Dodd was pretty good when he played center. So your O line should be at center Andy Dodd, guards Teuhema and Malone, and Willie Allen (if he comes on) and Wethersby at tackle. But if Grimes is still here, let's hope not, it will be Clapp and Malone at guard, Teuhema and Wethersby at tackle and Dodd at center.

The 2 biggest issues with this team have been the offensive and defensive lines. They just aren't what LSU fans have grown accustomed to.
  10. No I said overhand pitch and not a wiffle ball. Miles makes the final decision on who we recruited and as I remember we lost 2 DC's Chavis and Steele within a year too much kaos and probably lost DL's like Mack at A&M and Oliver at Houston. O had to deal with all that and Miles and he was not the DC. Sorry you get one more pitch.
