People said the same thing about Meyer. Oh he can't win without Tebow. Jimbo has hardware. O doesn't, and like Tirk said, I would have been ok with just about anything to get one of those 2 just to get the stench of Miles off this offense.
I'm sure you have moments where all things seem possible. You are seriously under the impression I have to have anyone's best interest in mind to comment? Just takes an opinion, you should have that part figured out.
He is at MooU. He was a good coordinator and is doing pretty good considering what MooU has to work with. He just destroyed the sissies. He seems like a weirdo - maybe I'm off on that assessment?
Meyer also had to leave the SEC because he couldn't win. I'll give him his due, he has changed a lot since UF. Before and after Jameis, Jimbo has not done much. He loses 2-3 games in a weak conference. I get the apprehension, especially after the UF loss. It was ugly. However, he did bring life back to LSU. O did turn around the attitude and mind set of a beaten team. Sure, the UF melt down was ugly, but breaking LSU records for 3 straight weeks says something. At the end of the day Miles won a title by giving his assistants reign. Miles also had the love and belief from his players. This is what I see O bringing, plus a lot more fire. I love his mantra, "One team, one heartbeat."
Doesn't really matter, wait till you see the circus coming to T-Town when the next fool tries to follow Saban.
I think this is where we really differ. I'll take a "mediocre" coach if he can get our Tigers to play the way he has the past 7 games. That being said, I disagree that a mediocre coach steamrolls Arkansas & TAMU.
